This autobiography is the captivating story of Overton Frank Turner who goes by his middle name Frank. This is because his fathers first name is also Overton. He was born autistic/dyslexic to a dyslexic father and autistic mother. When he started school in 1949 he failed first grade, but was sent on to second grade, which he also failed. After a move to a new school he was put in the third grade, which he failed three times. Now with three sisters the family then moved to the Navajo Reservation, and he started school over in the first grade at age 12. After moving off the Reservation at age 14 The school system stated him in junior high school, and with much extra work, “Cs” & “Ds”, graduated High School at age 20 in 1963.

The story tells of his adventures with his Navajo friends and painful experience in the US Navy. After the Navy he got married and had two girls. He then used he’s GI Bill to go to college where right off he was falling all classes. After seeking help he was diagnosed with dyslexia, and with special help and a painful straggle he graduate with a Masters Degree, which was just the start on his story.
