All-in-One Breakfast Shake
Yield: 2 large 12-ounce servings
1 1/4 cups soymilk
1 medium banana
1/2 cup orange, apple, or pineapple juice
1/4 cup oats
2 tablespoons wheat germ
2 to 4 ice cubes, optional
Nutmeg, optional
And if you want to lower its glycemic index add a tablespoon of protein
powder
Combine everything except the ice cubes and nutmeg in blender. Process
at high speed until smooth. (For a frothier shake, add ice cubes and process
until completely melted.) Pour into serving glasses. Sprinkle with nutmeg,
if desired.
