You can find more on the Maharishi effect on line if interested, and in books. This is so shocking to the materialist worldview that there are a number of web sites devoted to putting it down, but when there are hundreds of studies, picking on one or two studies seems desperate to me. Then add in all of the other evidence for a transcendent consciousness, and it’s clear that their worldview is being threatened and they are striking back.
