Consciousness in Nature
Slime mold consciousness
Now we come to a simple one celled creature, which has no brain that we know of, but yet it can have very complex behavior that can’t be explained without some form of consciousness in nature.
It starts out in a spore state and when it reaches maturity it comes out as a single amoeboid. They then seek out other amoeboids, and form huge colonies that have thousands or millions of amoebas all working together as a community. They can get as large as your hand, when that happens they expand and contract propelling themselves across the ground, moving over food as they go and sharing it with all. In this state they look like a glittering blob of mucus and can be red, orange, or yellow. How do they know how to do that with no brain? They can’t without some form of consciousness in nature.
