Science today is in a crisis. The old paradigm that the Universe is a machine, which philosophers call materialism (mostly called Classical science by scientist), has been shown to be incomplete by the new science called quantum science, and is being replaced with a new paradigm called Idealism. The word idealism comes from philosophy and is the concept that all of reality is just an ideal in our mind. Physical reality then is just an illusion created in the mind(today mind does not mean brain more later). For the Western world this concept of idealism is extremely hard to accept because science has been programing Us with materialism for 400 hundred years, and because materialism is our everyday experience, which makes it easy to believe. Materialism was a necessary stage for science, but science is now outgrowing it. Science is not what we have been propagandized to believe. Most people reject idealism out of hand because: how can You be creating Your reality in Your mind, and then I create mine in My mind, and then both of us see the same reality out in the world. If there is red ball on a table in front of both of us how is it that we both see the same 
ball. According to the materialist world view idealism is impossible. But the new quantum science says that this two sepert minds ideal is wrong. There aren’t two minds, all minds come from the same source, and only the experience we have is different, which makes it appear we are individuals.
